SAS Programmer/ Database Analyst

D.K. Shifflet & Associates, the leader in syndicated Travel Research, seeks a team oriented survey research professional proficient in all dimensions of data programming and data management. Our company provides travel intelligence and travel consumer insights for marketing decisions and strategic management. Our clients include hospitality and travel companies, Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of agencies within the travel industry.

Job Description:

• Provide statistical programming support - write and modify existing programs for data processing in SAS
• Perform data analyses e.g. frequencies, cross-tabulations, regression, etc.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
• Proficiency in SAS programming with 3+ years hands-on experience writing SAS programs and Macros
• Working experience in survey methodology is preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience in working with hierarchical database
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Access
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Social Science
• Research or Quantitative discipline
